LeisureRyde ("we") operates the LeisureRyde mobile application, which connects riders with independent drivers for on-demand transportation. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We collect the following categories of information when you use LeisureRyde as a rider or driver:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Riders' location is collected when actively using the app to request a ride. Drivers' location is collected continuously while they are online and available for trips, including while the app is in the background, so that riders can see an accurate, real-time arrival estimate and the platform can match nearby drivers efficiently.
All card payments are processed directly by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store full card numbers, expiry dates, or CVC codes. We retain a record of completed transactions (amount, date, trip reference) for accounting and fare dispute purposes.
We retain account and trip data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, we delete associated personal data within 40 days, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as completed transaction records) for tax, accounting, or legal compliance purposes, in which case we retain only what is legally necessary and for no longer than required.

All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS). Data stored in our backend (Firebase Firestore) is encrypted at rest by our infrastructure provider. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
LeisureRyde is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate, through an in-app notice.
